I don't think it’s right that "native" Americans ask for reparation in the interests of fairness if they, themselves, are not the true "natives" on American soil; but merely the first in line to conquer this land and it's inhabitants.

What is going on with the research into whether the original Americans (North and South) were actually closely related to the Australian Aboriginal peoples, not to the Asian (land-bridge theory) ancestors of modern so-called "native" Americans?

How can anyone seriously insist they are "First Peoples" or "First Nations" when science may well prove they are not? One sure way is to insist all study of any and all skeletal remains that could be studied to further alternative hypotheses are quashed because they have suckered our governments into giving them a "sacred right to the remains for burial" thus preventing science from disproving a theory that favors them. What a scam!

When early human remains are scientifically dated from thousands of years before what’s thought of as “native people’s” estimated arrival time on the North or South American continents via the popular Asian land-bridge theory, you can see that ALL remains should be afforded the luxury of being tested and studied BEFORE anyone hands them over to be pushed under a rug and hidden forever!

And what about all the tax dollars in "guilt" money that is paid to possibly not the first peoples, but instead, merely the first conquerors? Enough whining – we the tax payers deserve to stop bending over backwards long enough to find the TRUTH or at least try to. Enough is enough. And so-called "native" peoples should be more interested in the truth sometime and stop whining, begging for handouts, playing the victim to the hilt and last but not least trying to hide the truth under 6 feet of soil that they were not first anything on.

To Insure Promptness. That's where the word "tip" comes from.

You know I don't understand why the receptionist at the beauty salon doesn't get a tip. Who pours over the books looking for an appointment time that fits everyone's schedule and makes sure everyone is happy? The receptionist.

Who greets everyone and handles the phones and stands in as the employee monitor "Where's Sara? Did Jenny come back from lunch yet?" The receptionist.

Who has to deal with the complaints and rude comments and handle the tip money for the shy customers? The receptionist.

I do not see why the receptionist doesn't get a share of the tips. Receptionists at beauty salons don't make much over minimum wage, if not minimum wage itself... why are they kept away from their share of the tips when they do so MUCH in the way of customer service? Some receptionists do MORE customer service in a day than anyone else in the shop does! It's stupid and it doesn't make sense to me.

But don't really tip the receptionist, even tho she deserves it because she can't legally keep tips. This is a tip to the hair dressers at the salon: Take the receptionist out to lunch at least once a week, she gives your clients as much customer service as you do!

Well I've been waiting for this a long time - New Jersey is the first to pass a tough driving law that allows for prosecuting sleep-deprived people when they cause fatal accidents cuz they couldn't be responsible enough to get enough sleep before getting behind the wheel.

Now if someone causes a fatal accident in New Jersey and they are found to have been sleep deprived, it's punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.

The statistics for accidents caused by people who fall asleep at the wheel are really bad. A federal study estimates at least 100,000 crashes, over 70 thousand injuries and about 1,500 deaths PER YEAR all caused because people do not take getting enough sleep seriously these days.

Time to get to bed and get some sleep! Falling asleep at the wheel is no longer an excuse for negligent homicide.
